この(まつ)りは、織姫(おりひめ)彦星(ひこぼし)という二人(ふたり)恋人(こいびと)物語(ものがたり)関連(かんれん)している。二人(ふたり)七夕(たなばた)にしか()うことができず、(あま)(がわ)(へだ)てられている。織姫(おりひめ)(ちち)のために(ぬの)()()げなければ、彦星(ひこぼし)()うことを(ゆる)されない。

kono matsuri wa, orihime to hikoboshi toiu hutari no koibito no monogatari ni kanrenshiteiru. hutari wa tanabata ni shika au koto ga dekizu, amanogawa de hedaterareteiru. orihime wa chichi no tameni nuno o oriagenakereba, hikoboshi ni au koto o yurusarenai.

This festival is related to the story of two lovers, Orihime and Hikoboshi. They are only able to meet on Tanabata and are separated by the Milky Way. Orihime has to finish weaving cloth for her father before he will allow Orihime to see Hikoboshi.
