Booming Economy

thread
Booming Economy
The economy must be booming here in Korea.
Can you see all the constructions in distance?
There are at least 20 new huge bridges being built.

What have they done right?

I thought they were bankrupt a few years back and borrowed money from the World Bank. What have they done? We should learn from them.

Arrived in Seoul Korea
I left Japan today and arrive in Seoul Korea today. At Incheon airport, there is a radiation checkpoint. But unlike news I heard in Japan, it is not mandatory. They set this up to for people who came from Japan to assure them they are okay.

There is a big difference.

You've Been In Japan Too Long When...

...you notice you've forgotten how to tie shoelaces.
...you rush onto an escalator, and just stand there.
...you find yourself bowing while you talk on the phone.
...you think US$17 isn't such a bad price for a new paperback.
...you don't hesitate to put a $10 note into a vending machine.

There are many more at http://web2.iadfw.net/will/japan2long.html but the latest one is.

...you know the difference between Micro-Siever and Mili-Siever.
