この花はアゲラタムです。
和名はカッコウアザミで菊科の一年草です。原産地はメキシコ、ペルー、などで花期は３〜１０月中旬で適地は日なたで全国で栽培する事ができます。花の色が豊富で、藍紫色、桃色、白色などがある。生育適温は１５〜２０℃のため、平地では一時開花が少なくなる時がある。
