今日も熱波

中西部の熱波が東海岸へもやって来ました。しかも、湿度の高い、とてもいやらしい熱波です。昨日は、最高気温３６度（平年は２９度）、体感温度が４２度でした。地下鉄のホームは５０度を越えていたそうです。もともとホームにはエアコンがないのですが、節電日本でもここまでは節電できないでしょう。

この暑さのため、アパートの電源がおとといに続いて落ちてしまいました。管理人曰く、エアコンを同時に４つ使用している住人がいたのが原因と言っていました。幸い、一時間ほどで回復しました。また、今朝のニュースではブラックアウト地域がでてきたと報道されてます。

この熱波は明日まで続くとのこと。
