《襍草・/・古往今来128》山矢車菊

ヤマヤグルマギク（山矢車菊）　　キク科（Asteraceae）
学名：Centaurea montana
英名： Mountain bluet, Perennial cornflower.

ヨーロッパアルプス等では、普通に見られる花だが、日本では余り見かけない。
高さは３０～６０センチ位。初夏に登山基地！？！あたりでよく見かけた。
総苞には黒い縁取りがあり可愛い花。
山散策の思い出の花。

矢車菊は、春に見られる花で、北原白秋『桐の花』（1913）の詩が美しい。
「　にほやかに君がよき夜ぞふりそそぐ白き露台の矢ぐるまの花　」
