Police Shooting

thread
I saw a police training video on TV news footage. An officer goes into looks like a domestic violence station. A man is holding a knife and threatening a woman. A policeman ask him to drop a weapon (knife). He turned around charged at a poise with knife. A policeman opens fire … video ends here.

I cannot find the video on YouTUBE but it looks like a policeman is justified in shooting a man with knife. But I think this justified only in America. A police should be trained to use non lethal weapon to disarm a man. A gun should be the last thing a policeman should be using.

It is not old western movie … If a policeman is charged by a man, they should be trained enough to overtake the man. The only time I think a policeman is allowed to shoot a man is when he is threatening another civilian. That's why policemen are called hero and honored when they are harmed in the line of duty.

I hate to see any more people being shot and killed by police when the only person being threatened in a policeman. This is just my opinion.
