この言葉の意味を知っていますか。
ラテン語で下記の意味を持ちます。
Si vis pacem, para bellum
汝平和を欲さば、戦への備えをせよ
Para Bellun = 戦への備えをせよ
という意味です。これは戦争に対する抑止力を意味していると思います。
強い人、強いグループ、強い国には手を出さないのが常識です。
日本はもう80年近くも戦争を知りません。
良いことですが、日本の平和はアメリカが守ってくれるという考えがあるようです。
実際にアメリカに住んで、日本の有事にたいしてアメリカが守ってくれるのでしょうか。
守るためには、それなりの利害関係が必要うだと思います。
アメリカは傭兵ではないのですから。
日本も私はある程度防衛できるように準備をすべきだと思います。平和を望むなら。
