朝書いたようにアイホップのEndlessパンケーキブレックファーストに行ってきました。私が頼んだのはステーキ&エッグでもともと22ドルほどするものでした。パンケーキが無料で付いていて食べ放題だったのですが、結局1回おかわりしただけでそれも食べきれませんでした。なんやかんやと言って 2人でチップを入れて59ドル、なんと9000円の価格。アメリカ物価高すぎます。食べ物はそんなに高いとは思わなかったのですが、請求書を見るとコーヒーがいっぱい4ドル25と言う価格でした。このコーヒーで4ドル25 600円=ありえないですよね。それに加えてチップと税金の10%わかります。アメリカ外食できないですよね。この価格だと。

 

I mentioned this morning, I went to IHOP for their Endless Pancakes Breakfast. I ordered the Steak & Eggs, which normally costs around $22. The pancakes were free and all-you-can-eat, but in the end, I only had one refill and couldn’t even finish that. All in all, for two people, including the tip, it came to $59, which is about 9,000 yen. The cost of living in America is way too high. I didn’t think the food itself was that expensive, but when I looked at the bill, the coffee alone was priced at $4.25—600 yen for one cup of coffee is just unreasonable. Adding in the tip and 10% tax, it’s clear that dining out in America is really not affordable at this price.

 

 

 

宣伝で見たInternational House of Pancake（通称IHOP）のパンケーキ食べ放題に行ってみようかと思います。パンケーキ食べ放題だけを頼むと$5だそうですが、他のセットと一緒に頼むと、パンケーキ食べ放題が無料でついてくるとのことです。多分、セットを頼んでコーヒーもつけると思いますが、パンケーキのおかわりは1回するかしにかだと思います。結局、$20は払うことになるので、約3,000円ですよね。それでも行きたくなりますが、もしかしたら日曜日なので混んでいて入れないかもしれません…。

 

I’m thinking of going to International House of Pancake (commonly known as IHOP) to try their all-you-can-eat pancakes promotion I saw in an advertisement. It seems that if you order just the all-you-can-eat pancakes, it costs $5, but if you order it with another set, the all-you-can-eat pancakes come free. I’ll probably order a set with coffee, but I might only get one refill of pancakes. In the end, I’ll likely end up paying around $20, which is about 3,000 yen. Despite that, I still want to go. However, since it’s Sunday, it might be crowded and I might not be able to get in…。
