先日、日本出張の終わりに東京駅から京浜急行バスを利用して成田空港まで移動しました。このバスはわずか1500円で、東京駅からノンストップで成田空港まで約1時間で到着します。成田空港に行く手段としては、他にも品川や東京から出発するJRの成田エクスプレスや、上野から出発する京急のスカイライナーなどがありますが、いずれも料金は約3000円ほど。また、東京空港交通のリムジンバスもありますが、こちらも3000円前後の料金設定です。それに対して、京浜急行バスの1500円という価格はとてもお得で、時間の面でも非常に便利です。
ただ、今回利用した京浜急行のバスでは、少し気になる出来事がありました。私の後ろの席に座っていた中国語を話す乗客が、東京駅を出発してから成田空港に到着するまで、ほぼずっと電話で話していました。バス内は静かな空間が保たれるべき場所であり、長時間にわたる通話は他の乗客にとって不快なものです。公共交通機関では周りの人々への配慮が求められます。日本の公共交通機関、特にバスや電車などの車内では「マナーモード」に設定し、電話を控えることが一般的なルールです。
