Did you know WA State liquor tax is based on metric system.
It is a beautiful season in Seattle ... It is not sunny but the flowers are blooming and yeas my allergies are blooming too. People in the Pacific Northwest live for May to August ... the rest of the year, we drink coffee and work.
Why do you think we have so many hight-tech companies in Seattle?

I will be one go 50,000 people at CLINK (Century Link Field) for UW graduation this afternoon.
Today was the first time I have been to Safeway this month. Starting this month, you can buy liquor at places like Safeway. Prices seemed high but I don't really know since I don't drink. And this price does not include Washington State Liquor Taxes.
First we kicked the State out of Liquor distribution business ... next may be abolishing the very high liquor taxes like we did to the car license tab.
Not many companies including PSPINC are addressing exploding Chinese populations in the US. New Port High School near my house in Bellevue is packed with cars every Saturday for Chinese language school.
Japanese market is about 1/3 or 1/4 of its size compared to it peak in 90'. But i think Korean market is at least double in last two decades and Chinese markets are double that of Korean market. Companies in the US must address those market more seriously.
Today is the last day of State Monopoly on Liquor distribution. And the State owned Liquor stores are busy selling off all inventories ... well, that is what you and I think. No, not a State Liquor Store in Bellevue. They decided to close the store temporary so that they can count what they have in the store. It is called inventory. I guess they never cared how much inventory they had.
