Chevron at 148th and NE 8th in Bellevue has regular gas for 3.699. That is cheaper than some ARCO gas around here. Why is the gasoline so expensive? Gas companies are making too much money.
Would you buy something just because it is made in USA?
Recently it is becoming harder and harder to buy something that is made in USA. I am looking at my desk and I don't think anything on my desk is made in USA or any other industrial nations.
Recently, I came across a coupon that give me 50% off anything on the site. I was browsing the site to see if there is anything I need. I needed nothing but the shoes caught my eyes. They are new balance 993 running shoes costing $150. It was more expensive than any athletic shoes I have purchased recently (except maybe a pair of golf shoes). But what caught my eyes are big letters saying "MADE IN USA".
I had to buy a pair. They arrived today.
Are they better than $40 new balance you can purchase anywhere but made in China? I don't know. I sure hope so. But "MADE IN USA" has a value. I would like to see more of that. By the way, do you know 100% of PSPINC products and services are made in USA. I hope it has a value too.
I had a chance to look at two of the high riser condominiums downtown Bellevue. I really like to design and layout of Bellevue Tower. It was built in 2009 with North and South Tower with about 500 units. Out of that 62% of those units were never been sold ... I don't see any economic recovery. At least not yet.
My daughter passed away at Swedish Hospital in January 25, 2011. She was in the hospital since November 14, 2010. I just happen to see a bill for 1/1 to 1/25/2011 because we switch insurance on 1/1/2011. She was in the hospital for her seizure but died from other reasons.
The bill is over $950,000 for 25 days. I would pay anything to get my daughter back, but this is not right.
This sign at Shinagawa station is telling people, TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Co.) is operating at 74% capacity. Today was not hot at all, so it will be difficult when hot summer comes to Tokyo.
