I has a chance to go downtown Seattle this afternoon and went up on the 48th floor. I took a picture toward Bellevue. The buildings you see in the distance is the downtown Bellevue, the second largest city in the State.

The building you see in the center is University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center. This is the only one "Level 1 Trauma Center" within five states. We are lucky to have hospital like this.

You know those logos and what they do.
No explanation necessary ... That is branding!

I have been hearing many marketing people say "Branding" especially in fast few years. I have read a few articles on branding and I could not come up with the simple explanation what it is and how it can be done. Then I searched for and listen to people.

What I came up is this...

If you advertise enough with your logo and product name, people remember your product. That makes it easy for customer to buy products and service that has your brand.

So, it is another marketing technique ... When you advertise, try to use same logo, name and color so that people will remember. You website should be consistent with your corporate brand as well.

For the price of 100 Yen (about $0.95), you cannot beat the cup of coffee you can get at a convenience store in Japan. The machine grinds the coffee beans and drip for a each cup. It takes less than a minute. One thing you cannot find in Japan is a decaffeinated coffee. There is no such thing in Japan.

The machine dripped coffee started at 7 Eleven in Japan but now is available at almost all convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart.

PS: Some hotels serve you decaffeinated coffee but the are usually instant coffee ... who wants to pay hotel coffee price for an instant.

Email Not Working. We Take it Seriously.

The customer calls and letting us know the email is not working, we take this very seriously. We want to make sure you can send and receive email anytime of the day.

However, to diagnose the problem, we may have to ask you some fundamental questions like "is your computer connected to Internet?" I know it is a very basic question and you want us to fix the problem right away but we do not know what you know. So, even if you feel we are asking stupid questions, please help us by answering them.

Apple Pencil Stop Working ...

Hold the pencil tip and screw it off.

I cleaned it with my finger.

put it back on ... It's working now.

My Apple Pencil stopped working so I search the next to fix it.
Just take the tip off (twist counter clock wise) and put it back on (clock wise).
That fixed it.
