　クリスマスローズの花
　
「クリスマスローズ」は、クリスマスの時期に咲く、バラ（ローズ）に似た花、ということから命名されました。
多くは２月の節分頃から３月頃の開花だが、クリスマスの時期に咲く品種もあると言われています。
