大分より　『志手ぽんかん』　が届きました

大分市特産　『志手ぽんかん』　志手（して）とは大分市の中心地にある地名です。

志手のポンカンは、他生産地に比べると強い甘味と香りが特徴です。

まさに、『日本一のポンカン』　と言えます。

【毎年１２月末までに収穫された後、約１ヶ月間倉庫に貯蔵し、酸味を和らげ、果実を柔らかくしてから出荷、
１月末に初出荷、３月上旬まで続く。　　生産量は約３０トンほど。】

原産地：　インド
主生産地：　愛媛、　鹿児島、　熊本、　大分、　高知
品　　種：　　｢太田(志手ぽんかんの品種）」　｢森田」　｢吉田」　｢今津」

ポンカンとネーブルオレンジとの自然交配種にタンカンがある。　デコポンの親でもある。
