風見鶏の館の正式名は、旧トーマス邸と言われ、

明治42年(1909年)頃にドイツ人貿易商、トーマス氏の自宅として建てられる！

現在はこの辺り一帯は公園として整備されています。

実は！47年前にこの風見鶏の館の真ん前に住んでいたことが！

当時は観光客など来ない静かな所でした。(まだ独身時代！)

あのNHK のテレビドラマで一変しました！

　　★今でも訪れるとあの当時のことが思い出されます♪
