修二会（東大寺お水取り）の松明は昨日から

修二会は字のごとく、2月の修法で過去は2月１日（旧暦）でしたが、現在は新暦で3月１日から練行衆の先導松明の上堂が始まります。
※この行が行われるので二月堂と呼ぶようです。
