蒋介石独裁政権時の言論弾圧、白色テロを映画の時代背景として描いた台湾映画
1949～1987年の戒厳令下、反共の旗印によりあらゆる自由な言論を封じた時代に、政治犯の教育・更生施設として設けられた緑島での女性収容者を描いた物語
まさに台湾のことわざ「犬が去り豚が来た」の時代
日本人を犬にたとえ　犬は吠えたりかみついたりするが番犬になる、だが豚（中国人）は寝て食うだけで役に立たない
不幸な時代を描いた作品　是非見てほしい作品かな
