ブランディングと言います。

ブランドを付ける、オーナーシップを表す。



最近、ブランディングというとマーケティングのロゴデザインなどを意味しますが、もともとブランディングとはオーナーシップを表す目印だったのです。ですから売るためのもの、マーケティングの道具と言う考えは、マーケティング会社が考えたギミックだと私は思っています。









ポール・ランドと言う人をご存じですか？

Paul Rand と書きます。この方はたぶん世界で最も有名なロゴデザイン家だと私は思っています。かれはブランディングなどと言う理屈ではなく、人に覚えてもらいやすいロゴを作った人です。



私は理屈ではなく、格好の良いデザインが好きです。理屈を言われると、興ざめします。彼の作ったロゴには IBM、UPS、 ABCテレビ、NeXT などがあります。

Whether it's called branding or logo design, the important goals are to differentiate from your competitors (be unique), reflect the company's character, and the logo to have timeless quality, Logo/Brand is a first impression to the outside world. And design has the ability to bring potential clients and business. So, having a good logo/brand is important to success.

With enough money, I believe anyone can promote any company to anyone.



The design does play a role, however I do not think it is that important. What is important is the quality of products and services the company provide.
