“温室の花”《襍観・/・点描‘１７-02》

ウナヅキヒメフヨウ（頷き姫芙蓉）アオイ科（Malvaceae）
学名：Malvaviscus arboreus var. mexicanus Schlechtend.
別名：タイリンヒメフヨウ、タイワンヒメフヨウ、スリーピングハイビスカス

ウナヅキヒメフヨウ（頷き姫芙蓉）；
熱帯アメリカ原産で日本では九州南部～沖縄に自然植生している低木。
この季節野外では中々花に出会わないが、温室ではいろいろな花が顔をみせる。
花弁は、５枚だがこれ以上花びらは開かず閉じたままである。
外に突き出した雄蕊、花弁に隠れて見えない雌しべは、雄しべのすぐ下にある。
同属のヒメフヨウは、花が上向きに咲くが、
この花は、蕾の時は上向き、徐々に下向きになることからウナヅキ（頷き）と名付けられた。
