近江八幡市は琵琶湖に近く水郷が街中をめぐっていました。
今もその名残があります。
近年町興しで整備され観光客も多く訪れます。
しかし、私は近くに居ながら実はよく知らないのです。
そこで、今日税務署に行った帰り少しカメラを持って散策してきました。

これは日牟禮（ひむれ）八幡宮入り口の橋の側にある灯篭です。
