Designed to be a community site for people interested in Japanese language and culture of Japan. The site was originally developed back in 1996 was one of the first website developed by Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. At that point, Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. developed and sold KanjiKit, the utility software enables non-Japanese Windows machine to read and write Japanese.

In 2017, the site was transferred to Uchikura & Co. to farther develop the website. Since Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. is not dealing with Japanese language products. Our plan is to redesign and develop the site to be more of user-centric portal website where people interested in Japanese language and culture can exchange comments and ideas.

皆さんの中には洋式のトイレが当たり前の人も多いのではないでしょうか。私の場合、初めての洋式トイレとの出会いが小学校低学年でした。どうやって「大」をするのかわからないで困った覚えがあります。もちろん今は和式ではできません。

でもこんなサインを日本（空港）で見つけました。今更日本人には洋式を理解しない人なんていないでしょう。誰を対象にサインを作っているのか、ここに書かれている言語から想像できます。英語圏、韓国語圏（北は不明です）で洋式がわからない人は考えにくいので、やはり中国へのメッセージでしょうか？

世界が近くなるとこういう問題も出来るのですね。トイレは別として、日本には外国人にはわかりにくい習慣や常識があります。このあたりも Japanese-online.com で話してゆきたいです。

それは「Japanese-Online.com」のコンテンツ改善・新規コンテンツの導入です。

このJapanese-Online.comとは、日本語や日本文化を学習したいという人々のために作られたサイトで、ひらがなやカタカナ、日本語の文法や日本の文化がコンテンツとして組み込まれています。
またこのサイトは2年間アップデートをしていないのにもかかわらず、なんと20万PVを記録しており、この機会をビジネスに活用する他ないということで開始されました。

現在は定量調査をもとにサイト内のコンテンツ改善案や、新規コンテンツの導入などどのようにしたら、ユーザーがさらに興味惹かれるサイトになるか試行錯誤していくつもりです。お楽しみにしていてください。
