Did you know only 4% of companies in Washington State sell products overseas. That is very small number considering current state of global market. I am not expert in selling anything overseas except to Japan. But I see many opportunities for many of products sold in Washington to be exported to Japan.

When you consider current exchange rate of very strong Japanese Yen over US Dollar, there is no reason why you could not sell anything to Japan. From the computers to candies, jewels to toys, even products made in Japan are cheaper here by 20 to 50%.
