Soon or later your computer will break. You know that is the fact.
Since it will break, there are only few things that you can do to prepare for it. One of the things that you always have to do is to make sure you have at least one back up of everything important. But remember, your backup is also done on the computer, so it can break too.
One of our offices had their file server broken this week. Because it was RAID based server, people did not think it can break. Well, it did and we lost all saved files and had no backup for about a year.
Think about your office. What is going to happen if your file server, email server or web server was broken beyond repair. Can you recover from it? When the company like us (IT Professionals) can loose data, it might be a good time for you to look what you have.
We made another video explaining what IMAP is.

The site is designed to accommodate PC and Mobile users using "Responsive" technology. This means, the site changes to the size of the device you are looking at. I posted two images here. One is what the site looks like with PC browser and one with the mobile device's browser.
If you have not adopted your web to the Responsive design, give us a call.
We are staring to build a web server using Raspberry PI one board computer. For the cost of less than $40 and the cost of Compact Flash Card, we have a working computer. The question is, can we build ultra low cost web server using Raspberry PI.
If we can and it provides good enough performance, we can com up with vert low cost dedicated server hosting using Raspberry PI. This is one of the many fun project that we try at PSPINC.

What is Raspberry PI?
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn how computers work, how to manipulate the electronic world around them, and how to program.
It's only $5.95 per month …
Is that cheap.
Our DreamersI service costs $250 per year including 10 Email Accounts, 10GB Web and Domain Name Registration for 1 year. That is only $2 per month per email account and there is no additional charge for Web and Domain name.
I hink we have a better deal. Besides, we host all our services using the software that built from the ground zero. We do not use third party software like other hosting company.

We are setting up Mac Mail Server on Mac OS X Server. Mac Mail acts differently from Windows and Linux based mail clients including Outlook and Thunderbird. We are trying find out what makes Mac Mail happy.
I received eMail from Apple today. It is not anything special but on the mail list view on my MacBook, it is highlighted in blue. I don't know how you do that. This highlight does not happen on Thunderbird. It tells me there is a hidden feature in MacMail to highlight the email when it is listed on MacMail.
What else are they hiding???

Our Internet speed was about 100Mbps up and down. That is very fast for most companies, but we have much bigger pipes than most other companies. Our network guru found a problem and made a change just now.
Big difference. We moved from 100Mbps to 450 to 500Mbps, Now every page loads so much faster. I need to make sure we test our services on slower connections now.
The speed test is done at http://www.speedtest.net
