Business Opportunities / Apple Watches

thread
Business Opportunities / Apple... Business Opportunities / Apple... Business Opportunities / Apple... Business Opportunities / Apple...
Did you know back in 1995, PSPINC and JapanCentral.com were the exclusive distributor for Apple Watch … back then, they were manufactured under the license from Apple Computer, Inc. We used to distribute many Apple Macintosh software to Japan as well. We still have some unboxed new Apple Watches left in our storage.

Soon after Steve Jobs came back to Apple, he decided stop licensing Apple Name, logo and Operating System.

Macintosh Memory Issue

thread
Macintosh Memory Issue
Yesterday, all of sudden I got a message on my MacPro saying it is out of memory and I needed to close some application programs. I closed few apps but I got the same message again. I rebooted but it does not take very long to use up all 16GB of memory. Something went really wrong but I had no idea. Some application software was using up all my memory but I did not have any application open at that point.

I have decided to reinstall Mac OS X from the backup I took todays ago on my external drive. I took about two hours to reinstall but it is working well today. I wonder what went wrong.

HopTile is a free web service enable you to create and host single page website. I started the design for HopTile last year and asked PSPINC design and development team to secretly develop the system. The pre beta version that enables you to create a single (but) long website is out but I must say it is not that great yet. The newer version that comes out at the end of March 2015 will be 1000% better.

Today I wanted to tell you why I wanted to make single page website builder like HopTile. I was browsing the net and happen to come across Ford Mustang Website.

http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/

It was based on long single page website I really found it to be refreshing. All the information that you need about the product is right there in the single very beautifully designed page. It was easy to navigate and understand. There is more information on this page but it did not feel long.

I wanted web pages like that to both my clients and me. This is the design concept behind HopTile.

Happy 30th Birthday to .COM

Happy 30th Birthday to .COM
March 15, 1985, the very first .COM domain "symbolics.com" was registered by the computer manufacturer Symbolics. I wander what they were using the domain for? There was no browser nor home page at that point.

OS X Yosemite Public Beta 10.10.3

thread
OS X Yosemite Public Beta 10.1... OS X Yosemite Public Beta 10.1... OS X Yosemite Public Beta 10.1...
I have installed Apple Mac OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite Public Beta to my MacBook Air following the news about Apple not supporting Aperture software. I needed to find out what Photos are like. So far, I am confused. How could the professional version of photo cataloging software ca be replaced by free software.

I have 250GB of photos. How do I supposed to store them in iCloud? I will use it and let you know how it goes. Until now I am not ouching my Aperture software.

What do you want me to do about my Aperture???
I am an Apple Aperture user with over 100,000 photos stored, indexed and sorted. Now I have to migrate to Photos for iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.

Well, here is my problem. My main compute is MacPro desktop and I cannot upgrade beyond 10.7.5. How do I migrate to Photos in Yosemite? Before Apple does this, they should make OS X Yosemite work on older MacPro.
