白魚（シラウオ）、踊りなどで食べる素魚(シロウオ)とは違います。

夏場はまだ小さく、秋から冬に掛けて大きくなっていきます。

この時期のものはまだ高級で一般には出回りません。

　　★これはポン酢で食べると美味しい！
