シアトル：レストランPancake House

サンクスギビングの翌日、アメリカ人が買い物の狂喜乱舞するブラックフライデーの朝、早朝から大賑わいだったパンケーキ・ハウス。すぐ隣にホテルもあるので、家族旅行の人たちものんびりと朝食を楽しんでいました。

ここは50年以上の歴史があるそうで、パンケーキもオムレツのたまごも、薄めていない懐かしい味で、お気に入りのレストランです。なんとも古めかしいメニューもそれらしく、家族３代の和やかな朝食風景は心和むものがあります。
