“初春の花芽”《襍木・/・古往今来280》

ミツマタ（三又、三椏）ジンチョウゲ科（Thymelaeaceae）
学名：Edgeworthia chrysantha Lindl.

和紙を使う者には、極普通に聞く名前、三椏。和紙原料として楮（コウゾ）と共に最も一般的な原料。
画像は、ハルに咲く花芽。柔らかく暖かそうなビロード状の衣をまとい冬を越した姿
そろそろ開花に向けて活動し始めるか。小さな蜂の巣が沢山あつまっているように映る。
花のない蕾も縮こまっているこの季節に健気に姿を見せた。
初春のうららかな姿だ。
「和紙の原料になるのは枝で、皮を剥がして使用する。
