iPad crashed during the update to 7.1.2

iPad crashed during the update... iPad crashed during the update...
My iPad crashed during the OS update to 7.1.2 and I have to restore it from the backup. It require iTune on my Mac to do this. How do you do this if you have no base computer and have iPad alone?
