Japan is almost over with COVID-19

COVID-19 Infections and Deaths... COVID-19 Infections and Deaths in Japan.
As of March 22, 2020
Did you know Japan is almost over with COVID-19 state of emergency. As of May 22, 2020, total confirmed infection is 16,424 (some argue that Japan is not testing) and total death is 777. Those are accumulated numbers, bit one day or not one week.

The daily infection for today is less than 80 and deaths are less than 10. Considering Japan has about 1/3 the population of the US, this is an incredibly small numbers.

I sometime wonder why? It must have the reason. Here are something that we know.

  • Japanese as a culture, people do not have close contact with others. No hugging, shaking hands and so on.
  • Japanese people wear masks even before COVID-19.
  • Take bath or shower everyday.
  • Wash hands even before COVID-19
  • Drink Green Tea?
  • Walk a lot more. Fit?
  • Less people with High BP or Diabetes.
  • Bacillus Calmette–Guérin vaccine (BCG)

Those are the things people are talking about.
