Public Transportation Systems

Western Washington is trying to build the light rail transportation system. For that we are paying lot of taxes for this system. The system is being build but it will take another few years before they come near my office / Bellevue.

I am so used to well build transportation systems in Japan. The Japanese rail system was build by the tax money and run as a part of government system called "Japan National Rail" or JNR. In 1987, JNA was separated in many different group and became privatized called JR Systems.

Japan has one of the most successful rail systems in the world. Us is trying to catch up, but it is not that easy because the US, especially the west cost, is design for the automobiles. I would love to have the rail system but not a slow lift rail, I rather have real rail system and super express train system.
