"I have an idea. I even have a product or service in mind. But starting a business sounds scary”.
If you feel this way, you’re not alone. Many people feel the same.

But here’s what I want to tell you loud and clear— Start by creating your company.

To be honest, I didn’t start my company because I had a grand dream or ambition. I was simply pushed into a situation where I had to continue my work, not as an employee, but as a business owner.

I had two options: Quit, or do it on my own.
I chose to do it on my own and set up the company.

Of course, I didn’t prepare anything at first. But once I officially registered the company, something shifted in me. Every step, from obtaining a title to opening a bank account to distributing business cards, made me feel like a real entrepreneur. And gradually, owning a company started to give me trust and opportunities that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.

That’s why, if you have an idea or something you want to try, I encourage you to just start by creating your company. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t need to have everything figured out. Creating your company might just be the first step in your business journey.

We have contracted a company to replace our north side fence. It came out really nice. The material they used was a cedar and it should last easily 10 to 15 years. We contacted the same company for the south side of our yard.

The traffic in Seattle downtown in the morning is very very bad this morning. I had a doctors appointment at the Virginia Mason downtown Seattle at 8:45. It usually takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to the Virginia Mason from my house but this morning it took almost 40 minutes. I just lied that check in five minutes before the appointment. I'm glad I made it.

 

 

This is impossible. No one will buy this. It's too hard to make. The market research shows poor results. Whenever we try to move forward with something, negative thoughts often overwhelm us.

But in reality, you never know what’ll happen until you actually try. Even ideas perfect in theory can fail; on the other hand, ideas that seem impossible on paper sometimes succeed for unexpected reasons.

We often try to figure everything out in our heads. But in the real world, sometimes taking action is the only way we learn. Being proactive and fast are crucial, especially in business. Rather than overthinking and staying stuck, take the first step–even if it’s risky.

Of course, you don't have to jump in recklessly. You need to manage risks and have some minimal preparation, but if you're always focused on reasons not to act, you'll keep missing opportunities.

Just do it. If what you’re doing isn't working, change it and try again.
The only way to succeed is by moving forward, one step at a time.
