大分県北部の豊前海にて捕獲される貝です。

大分県北では　「姫貝」　のこと　「とり貝」　とも　「きぬ貝」　「青柳貝」　とも言われています。

青柳貝を丁寧に天日干した物で、別名、「干しきぬ貝」　とも言います。

環境の変化などにより近年は捕獲量もかなり減少して、今では　「珍味の王様」　と言われてます。

この姫貝！　王様と言われる位に、一言で言うと絶品です。

軽くあぶった時にでる香りや濃厚な味は絶品です！

　　　★軽く火であぶって、酒の肴に最適です。
