さくら満開

今年のシアトルの天候は不順で2月に続き3月も気温が低く、後半になってようやく春らしくなってきた。

わがやのそめいよしのの開花は3月22日だったが、一週間後の今日満開となった。去年はわれわれが日本を訪問していた3月の4週目の満開だったようなので、ほぼ同じだ。ちなみに2017年は3月15日、2009年は4月11日の満開だった。

わがやの桜が満開になればゴルフシーズン、今年は頑張るぞ。
