WebdeXpress: ver3.7.5 Functional Update

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve enhanced functions of WebdeXpress (WDX), the website creation tool included with Dreamersi web hosting.

Major changes:

Added the function of downloading contact form.
Changed contact form submission notification email sender to "noreply@domainname".
Updated the contact form submission notification emails.
Fixed bug that deleted excess data when attempting to save more than the maximum allowable data in "Pages", and doubled the data storage capacity in "Pages".
Removed “β version” label from single-page mode.

Details of each updates are as follows:

1. Added the function of downloading contact form.

Added a new feature that lets users download contact form logs as .csv files.

How to download:

After logging into WDX, select “Dashboard” from the upper left menu.
Select “Contact” from the menu.
Go to “Contact Form Logs” and select “Export to CSV” to download.

2. Changed contact form submission notification email sender to "noreply@domainname".

Up to ver3.7.4
　　The Contact Page “Form Email Recipient” was set to the From address.

Since ver3.7.5
　　Changed to “noreply@domain name".

3. Updated the contact form submission notification emails.

Updated the contact form submission notification emails to include the contact's domain name in the email body.
Updated contact form submission notification email footer to display the "Website Title".

4. Fixed bug that deleted excess data when attempting to save more than the maximum allowable data in "Pages", and doubled the data storage capacity in "Pages".

Doubled the data storage capacity in “Page Content” (from 64KB to 128KB).

5. Removed “β version” label from single-page mode.

Announcement: Bloguru Server Security Update with Downtime (8/28/2024)

We’re happy to announce that we’re upgrading our operating system (OS) for Bloguru's server.

We’re upgrading our OS from Cent OS7 to Alma Linux 8 since there will no longer be technical support for Cent OS7 after June 30, 2024, in a continued effort to strive towards making sure our hosting service is the safest it can be. With this new upgrade, it will help patch any vulnerabilities to defend users against cyber threats and also support new encryption protocols.

However, updating the OS will result in about 10 minutes of downtime. You may not be able to access your Bloguru admin panel as well as your posts during this time, so we thought you should know ahead of time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This server upgrade will occur on:

*USA Pacific Daylight Time
- Aug 28th (Wednesday) 7-8am

*Japan Time
- Aug 28th (Wednesday) 11pm-0am

- Fix cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in handling list columns from user preferences.
- Fix command injection via crafted im_convert_path/im_identify_path on Windows.
