サンディエゴ：Save the Kiss statue

ミッドウェイ博物館
ミッドウェイ博物館の横にある、マグロ湾公園に設置される通称Save the Kiss statue。
ロマンチックで巨大な像ですが、正式な名称はUnconditional Surrender（無条件降伏）と傍の金属板に刻まれています。

ミッドウェイ博物館は、第二次世界大戦、ベトナム戦争、湾岸戦争で使用され、日本は横須賀にも停泊していた空母ミッドウェイをそのまま博物館にしています。
次回は中身をご紹介出来ればと思います。
