ついに家の裏庭に作った、小さな畑から大根ができました。
これは、小太郎という種類のミニ大根です。
わりに浅い畑なので丈の短いものを選んで植えたんですよ。

今回は、お漬物にしてみようかと、母に段取りをして貰いました。
もったいないので葉っぱも食べることにして、一緒に漬けました。
でも葉っぱは虫食いだらけです。

有機野菜ということで、許せます。

正に自宅での地産地消、いいですね。
大根は捨てるところがなく、おばあちゃんは皮まで使っていましたね。　（苦笑）

自分の作ったものは、虫くいだろうが、もったいなくて捨てられません。
