ムクゲ（木槿）アオイ科（Malvaceae）
学名：Hibiscus syriacus L.
別名：ハチス

フヨウと良く似ており、更には園芸種が沢山ありだ。
庭木として単植、寄せ植え、生垣に用いる。または鉢植えにして観賞用にもする。
花は朝開いて夜にはしぼむ一日花。
