支笏湖と洞爺湖、そして羊蹄山に囲まれる原野と思われるエリア。
しかし、Google Earthで覗くと、そこは伐採あとだらけ。
原生林と言うものは、北海道の中ですらほんの一握りしかないのだ。
標高700mを超える厳しい場所。
僕には悪くない。
