Microsoft is going a wrong way.

There used to be hundreds of engineers from hardware manufacturers at Microsoft Campus making sure every copy of Windows is compatible and optimized for their hardware. Now, Microsoft ships basically the same build of Windows to every hardware manufacturer and hoping it will work. Now with new tablet, Microsoft will even care about hardware manufacturers and going to sell hardware.

Hardware manufacturers have no reason to support Microsoft anymore. So it is time for the hardware manufacturers to start shipping PCs with no operating system or other operating system such as Linux. I think Microsoft wants to be an Apple. I think it is a bad idea.

I am looking at a bottle of Glenfiddich 12 Year Old ... It is sold at the Safeway here in Bellevue Washington for almost $40. This price does not include Washington State Taxes. The same bottle in japan is selling for 2,199 including tax (that is about US$28).

I understand tax being high, but the bottom line is the bottle itself is much much higher here. That means, it is not a State problem the liquors are more expensive, it is the distributors who are juicing up the prices.
