I ordered Braun Shaver System from the Credit Card Reward Program. This is the page that shows the product I ordered. When I received the product, it did not come with the base unit which cleans the shaver. I called the Reward program support but they told me the vendor did not include the base unit as a part of reward program.
This is very stupid on the Reward Program part to supply incomplete product. I was frustrated but in the end I just ask the Reward Program people not to do this again and possibly drop this vendor. It will hurt the reputation of the the credit card issuing company.
When you do business, you must think customer is always right. Beside, the support is there to support customer, not there to prove the customer is wrong.
Because we run data centers, we use more electricity than most other companies. But when you really think, we host almost 40,000 companies' web site and email servers with 500 servers, that is quite a saving compared to 40,000 servers.
But, to reduce the energy usage, we are replacing all of our windows with more energy efficient windows. Emerald City Energy (http://www.emeraldcityenergy.com/) is helping us with this large project.
We are almost done with HQ building, and we will start on R&D building next.

I am trying to tracy the flight from Amsterdam to Seattle on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. On the web site, it says the flight is 8 hour early ... I knew that is wrong. I try to call KLM office, but the maze of menu made me hung up.
I finally got the arrival information on the Port of Seattle SEATAC airport arrival web site. I have never flown on KLM but this type of service makes not want to use KLM. When very one is selling same thing, you choose your vendor based on three things.
(1) Price
(2) Reputation
(3) Service
Can a website help a company?
The answer is "YES". It also can hurt the company too.
There are many businesses that you can conduct using Internet. Recently, one of the hottest trend is to offer something really good at heavily discounted prices. Groupon, LivingSocial, Amazon and now it is Google getting on this trend.
If I remember correctly, Google offered to purchase Groupon for $1.5 Billion but was turned down. So Google decides to do it by itself. Google started to look more like Microsoft now. I am not saying it is bad. It is very typical of big company.
How do we promote our web hosting business in Seattle?
That has been a question that we have been asking for years.
What makes our service different from others?
Is our service better than others?
How about our pricing?
What is the right message?
Who is our audiences?
What is the best media to convey our message?
We are now focusing more on building the market presence in the Greater Seattle Area. We need to focus on building the marketing plan for it and stay with it.

When you do direct mail, you try to pack as much information as possible in to a very small size like a post card. With QR Code, you do not have to put so much information. You can place a QR Code on the post card to direct potential customers to your mobile web site easier.
This is a example of QR Code on a post card. For more information, contact me.
