We had Northwest Minority Supplier Development Council Business Opportunity Fair at Westin Hotel in Seattle. Because of the forecast of snow, we had light turn out. But I made some great contact at the fair.
I had little time this afternoon, so I drive to Seattle and went to see Seattle Home Show. I saw some Seattle Executives Association Companies like Sun Dance, Rainier and AquaQuip. It was fun.
We had weekly Seattle Executives Association lunch meeting today. Where else can we meet with 100 business owners who are willing help you promote your business. This is a great organization.

Don't you love the sound of "NO SALES TAX"? I know McLendons is paying the sales tax by discount the product by about 10%. But NO SALE tax sounds better than 10% off store wide.

I just hate paying tax to the State. They just spend it no matter how much we give them. I heard they are giving themselves a raise while they are cutting school and emergency service funds.
Whole lot of Chinese people come to Japan to buy small electronics goods like rice cooker in Japan. Although, some of those items are made in China, but not available in China.
Do not think Chinese people are poor. Even if only 10% people are wealthy, that 10% is more than the population of Japan. There are over 1.3 billion people in China. 10% of that is 130 million people. That is more than 1/3 of the population of the US.
People around the world made mistake by thinking Chinese can only afford inexpensive goods. They do buy cheap things. They buy expensive things. Thing that they cannot yet to make.
When you do translation, interpretation, or localization in Japanese language, you need someone native with business experience. There is no way someone who is not native Japanese can do any of those things at professional level no matter how fluent one is.
Even with native Japanese, if one has no business experience, that person will be able to create an acceptable Japanese language documents.
You need to hire a professional Japanese writer or hire a professional company or just do not do any Japanese translation. It is better to keep it in English than bad Japanese.
PSPINC (http://www.pspinc.com) has done Japanese localization of software for over 100 titles before it started its Internet Web hosting business in 1996.
