Japan has the most strict gun control laws in the world, yet Former Prime Minster Abe was Gun Down in Japan yesterday. This should not have happened and I do not think secret polices did not do their job properly. They should not have let the man fire the second shot.

Gas prices around Bellevue are about $0.30 cheaper lately. But the fact is we are still paying more than double what we used to pay a year and half ago.

I did my one mile walk before the noon. We are celebrating 35 years in business.

35 years at PSPINC

After all the boring meetings, I went out for my one mile walk. I am back in the office before noon and I completed my one mile walk. Since yesterday, area around my right ribcage developed pain. I think it might be something to do with trying to setups. I will have to take it easy for now.

I registered Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. in Washington State on July 7, 1987 ... 35 years ago today. We are starting our 36th year. I must thank everyone works and worked at PSPINC and all our current and past customers and partners. Without all of you, we would not be here.

Spoof Filtering

If you receive spam emails from your own email address, in my case ken.uchikura@pspinc.com, it is called "spoofing". Spoofing is an email sent from your own email address but was really sent from different email address.

Our hosting system has a way to check and see if the email is sent from the real server that it stating to be. If the sender server is different from the actual email server it is used to send, we can spam it out.

Go to Dreamersi.com control panel and click on spam filter, then turn on spoof filtering. That is all you have to do.

The Buck Stops Here

President Harry S. Truman once made the phrase, “The buck stops here”, famous. It means he accepted responsibility for how the country ran no matter what, even if it was someone else’s responsibility. It would still ultimately be his responsibility. For 35 years, I’ve been running my company since founding it, and I’ve encountered problems caused by my own doing as well as others where I was not involved. But I follow Truman’s example by taking responsibility for everything at my company, regardless of who caused it or if it’s directly related to me. But interestingly, if something good happens, it’s the employee’s achievement, not mine. It may seem unfair, but I feel that’s what being a CEO is all about.

I believe that employees can work with peace of mind because they know that no matter what happens, management will take care of them. When I was an inexperienced CEO, I blamed the person in charge when problems occurred. Looking back on it now, I realize how immature that was. Now, when a problem occurs, we investigate the problem internally first. If it’s a human error, we talk to the person involved and their manager to come up with countermeasures to prevent it from happening again. Externally, the first step in solving the problem is apologizing. Even if it’s the customer who causes the problem. Regardless, it’s my company and my responsibility because we created the environment that allowed it to happen.

After 35 years of running a company, it is my responsibility to my employees and customers to take responsibility. No problems would be better, but no matter how careful you are, problems will emerge. Regardless, I think it’s important to be prepared to deal with that as the head of a company. I wish you all the best in your work and to take care of yourselves.

Mile a Day Walk ... I am still going!!!

Sitting on the chair for over 4 hours is very boring and tiring.

Not too bad for in door exercise.

after my dialysis, I was really tired with headache. So I rested for few hours and woke up around 5:00pm. By that time, it started to rain outside. Instead of going our for walk, I waled inn house for 30 minutes and did the exercise watch YouTube. I was able to do a mile and little more in door.

I played 18 hot;es go golf today.

I was going to play 9 holes today to see if I can play.
I ended up playing 18 ... Even with a golf cart, my legs are sore.
But it is very move that was able to play 18.
The score was really really bad ... But I will practice again.

I was going to play golf today but it rained.

All without going outside today!!!
No Climbing ...

It is raining all day today and I could not go play golf for the first time today. Instead I did exercise in house ... I manage to walk as much as I do every day and little more. I also was able to do the sit-up for the first time since the surgery. I am so happy.
