What is the most important thing in business? I think there are various answers such as financial resources, ideas, products, marketing, employees, etc. However, I think the most important thing is a network of people. The number of people I know determines how many people trust me and are willing to introduce me to their friends and colleagues. Yes, the key word here is "trust."
This is not just about my job. For example, when someone says that they are looking for a house, or a company that repairs their home's electrical issues, it is nice for them to say “let’s ask Uchikura-san". It's obvious that I know something about building websites and applications - that is my business, but I am happy to be asked about other things too.
Anyone can tell people about themselves. The hard part is listening to the other person. If you can listen, people will trust you. It's my hope that people think I can be of help with anything they want to talk about. I may not have the answer but I am sure my network will.
It is my dream to have network of people I can trust and cal talk anything about ... I am not there yet. I have to work on it.

Japan is currently have a control over Senkaku Islands, but Taiwan claims it as a part go Taiwan. And because China claims Taiwan is a part of China, China is claiming it is Chinese territory.
I have read the histories from both Japan and China and my conclusion is that history has nothing to do with the ownership of the islands. The important thing is who is occupying. If China takes the islands by force, unless Japan can defend them, they will be a part of China. If Japan successfully defend them then they are part of Japan. It is that simple!
This is how the history has been and continues to be written. If China wants them, they should take them even by force. If Japan wants them, Japan should defend them by force as well. All the territories can be taken and can be defended. It is the nature of human being.

There are many reasons you want to start your own business. No matter what the reason is, I encourage people to start a business of your own. I started mine 33 years ago and I do not regret my decision 33 years later.
I am often asked what it’s like to start and own your own business. My answer is always the same. It is the best decision I have ever made and I would do it again, but it is not easy. For every success there must be a dozen failures. With every encouragement there are always more disappointments.
However, one thing that has kept me going is the people. The people I work with, customers, vendors and friends. Without them, your success means nothing. Sharing stories with people you know and listening to their stories make everything worthwhile.
For those of you who are starting a new venture, I salute your courage and hope for your success. Good luck and at any point if you need someone to tell you that you are doing a good job, ask me. That is the least I can do.

China (Chinese Communists) is Reporting No New Coronavirus Cases. There are only two countries in the world that reports no new Coronavirus infections. Those are China and North Korea.
You do not buy this from North Korea, do you? So why do you trust the same report from China. If there is no new cases in China, why are they wearing masks?
This is the same country that building the island in the middle of the ocean to expand it territory. It the same country suppressing HK freedom. It is the same country trying suppress people in Xinjiang. Look at Mongol too.
I like Chinese people, I just do not like the communist party running the country.
China has reported no new deaths from coronavirus anywhere in the country, for the first time since the beginning of the outbreak. But as the BBC's Robin Brant writes, there are lingering questions over how far these figures, and therefore China's narrative on the outbreak, can be trusted.
For months now, every morning at 03:00, officials in China have put together the latest figures on the spread of the virus to share with the world. As of 7 April, it had recorded 81,740 cases and 3,331 deaths.
The country where the virus emerged has received praise for its handling of the crisis. World Health Organization Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus hailed China for the "speed with which [it] detected the outbreak" and its "commitment to transparency".
But despite those warm words from the WHO, there is considerable and persistent doubt about the official statistics and claims of success.
Last week, senior British government minister Michael Gove told the BBC "some of the reporting from China was not clear about the scale, the nature, the infectiousness of the virus".
US President Donald Trump also said last week that the reported death toll and infections seemed "a little bit on the light side". And for some time US lawmakers have accused China of under-reporting the scale of the outbreak.
As cases rise across the world - the US has already far outstripped reported Chinese cases and deaths - some appear to be looking to China for answers on how to "flatten the curve".
But there is growing concern that China is not being entirely honest about the extent of its infections and deaths.
This mistrust is partly about history - and partly about a lack of clarity that inevitably breeds mistrust.

After few days of using AirPod Pro ... I had to replace ear pieces to fit my ears better. The battery charge is quick but the it drains very g=fast lasting only about 4 ~ 5 hours of continus use.
But overall I am very happy with it. Does it worth $279???

Until now, I have run a company in lukewarm water. Without a solid business plan or plan of action, the company grew based on our employees’ abilities to take care of business. A few years ago, I started to feel uneasy about our dependency on our staff and wanted to change. I became President again last July and I started to think about what I needed to do.
The time has come to start the action that I have planned for a year. The purpose is to rebuild and grow the company. No, I am not chasing anything that is customer-focused, it is purely an internal change. We have excellent people in our staff, but our service and business depend on the people. I need to change that environment and lay down a system where our staff can excel.
I came to think that my job was to create a system that allowed me to more freely express my personal power. To give a visible goal and a mechanism to review it - this is the challenge. I want to make this structure with our staff and I want my company to be more focused with everyone heading to the same direction. This is what I want to focus on.

Japan has expressed concern to the United States over its decision to halt the issuance of some types of work visas, arguing the move could not only hurt Japanese companies but also the U.S. economy, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said Tuesday.
"Japan invests in the United States and builds factories there, procures parts and establishes distribution channels, making an extremely big contribution to employment and the overall economy," he said at a press conference.
"We have communicated concerns that the visa halt could affect this," he said.

July 7, 1987 (33 years ago) - I founded Pacific Software Publishing, Inc. by myself. The company has overcome numerous problems with the help of a lot of people, good luck and my own efforts. Many people joined the company and left. I could not make everyone happy and I think it will continue to be this way.
I have always thought about how I can best control the company. With the Coronavirus, employees are now working remotely and face-to-face management is no longer possible. Needless to say, I have had a lot of stress and anxiety.
However, this time I realized that there are things that I cannot control, even within the company. I also noticed that the company is running even when I am not there to control it. This is a part that has changed significantly since this March. I had never thought about giving up control but I now recall that I had to do just that.
I want to make people happy, but that doesn't seem to be up to me. The company I created 33 years ago is now sailing without me completely controlling it. I only decide the destination, the rest is done by the company. I am the Captain, but this pandemic seems to have pushed me to realize that I am a passenger on this ship as well. I do not know how long I will be at the helm or what kind of ship it is going to be, but I will try to enjoy the ride as much as possible.

I believe that many people think that using SEO and other means to attract a large number of people to their website will lead to business. All you have to do is gather people and that will generate business for your company. This is true if your business is to receive advertising revenue from your website like a “Search Site”, “Social Site”, “Ranking Site” and so on. As more people visit your website, the value increases for advertisers.
However, many businesses are not in the business of collecting advertisement revenue from websites. Their website is not a place for gathering people, but a place for doing business. In short, the homepage must have a purpose.. Examples include: explaining a product to the customer, selling a product, allowing the customer to make a payment on the website, providing customers with the ability to make a reservation, etc.
Therefore, the purpose of your website should not be to gather random people, but to create a website for doing business. When creating or recreating websites, I think it is important to clarify the purpose first.
