My Honda Pilot is at Lynnwood Honda for maintenance and fe other things. They let me borrow General Manager's car for tonight. Is this an Accord ... Wow, it has changed. Great service.
Finally we are replacing old roof which started leaking. This will take about a week. The you own office buildings like we do, you are responsible for maintenance and repairs.
I came in for service. They are now doing few more things so I need to leave the car here. They go out of their way to service my car.

$26.2 billion sounds a lot but it is a lot better buy than $8.5 billion they spent on NOKIA provided Microsoft can so something with 433 million Linked in users. When you think about it, Microsoft spend $60.51 per user. Linked in has revenue of $2.99 billion last year ... so that means, each user produced about $6.91 per year for Linked in. So that means Microsoft paid about 8.76 fold of the Linked in revenue. It's still not as bad as when we had .com boom.
We ha no use for stamp like this ... It says "Confirmed" in Japanese.
We do not print much anymore, do we?
We used to print everything and filed them. Now all documents are email and stored in the computer and the server. We do have copier but we don't use it much anymore. How about fax machine?
Do you know faxed documents are legal document but email is not. Did you know that. So when you write a letter to congress, VP or President, you need to fax it the mail it.
You cannot expect people to read your email if it is this small.
More people read email using smartphones than PC. You know that already. Many of you are reading the blog post on mobile devices. So, you need to make your email mobile friendly as well.
You need to spend so much effort writing your marketing email, but it all goes waste if your email is not readable on mobile devices. Check out http://www.newsmail.com by PSPinc. It makes your email change format depends on the size of the screen. It is called Responsive.
The car is communicating with somewhere to get an update.
This is not just receiving data, it is also sending dada too.
It is not sending who you are ... I hope not.
IoT ... We now hear more and more about IoT (Internet of Things) and the most obvious one of IoTs is the car. Many newer cars are communicating with some servers to send and receive data. This data may include
- Location
- Speed
- Wiper on/off
- Lights on/off
- Traction Control on/off
- Outside temperature
- Proximity data
How ever it is not sending who you are for privacy reason. But it can.
I parked on the curve downtown Seattle. I did not know it cost $8 for $2 hours. That is expensive. I guess the city does not want you to drive your car downtown.
