When the economy goes down, everyone try everything they can to reduce the cost without cutting any services. But there is one industry that increases the price and reduces the service. And when they are told to reduce cost, they cut the service so much that people must say yes to the price hike.
It is government. As of today, the State sales tax is 9.5% and 9.8% at the restaurants. When I came to Seattle, sales tax was 7.3% and that was the highest in the nation. The reason for that was Because Washington State has no Income Tax. What about Business and Occupation Tax (B&O Tax)? Why doesnt the government try to cut cost without reducing the service level? All you had to do is work more, faster and smarter.
I do not smoke, but as of today Federal & State tax on tobacco is over $3 a packet.
We have installed a light in out patio. We decided to use LED light. This energy efficent light uses 13W of power where equivalant light uses 90W.
I has problem with the drain in my house. When it rains, it goes down the gutter but the drain in the ground was clogged. I try to fix it by digging around the drain, but it was too deep and I do not have tools needed to fix.
I called Fox Plumbing (http://www.foxph.com/) because Fox is a member of Seattle Executives Association. They came over next day and fixed it right there. It cost little over $600 but I dont have to worry about water any more.
PS: I kind of think they need little better web site but they do a good job.
PPS: I forgot to use my coupon that I got from them.
Okay. As I promised we have upgraded the main page of Bloguru and added a few more skins. New skins have wider FREE SPACE areas. So, those of you who has wider graphics to embed, please try the new skins.
BTW, the girl character on the main page is called BLOGURU-CHAN. This character was developed by one of our Bloguru users in Japan.
OFURO and SENTOH are words describes Japanese style bath. The bath could be natural spring or just a hot water. It usually have dry sauna. Japanese bath is one of the most missed items living in the US.
When you go to baths in Japan, there are some things that are very unique in Japan. People who work there are usually women. They come in to the bath and clean things. After living in the US for so long, I still feel out of place to see female in the mans bath. I guess it is a common thing in Asia. Other than that, Japanese baths are great. I wish I had one here in the US.
We are updating the look and feel of Bloguru.com tomorrow. A few skins will be added to the bloguru.com as well. It will start to look more like very successful Japanese version. Also, we will be eliminating inactive users from the system.
We should be able to add Mobile Posting Capability to English Bloguru.com. Thank you for being patient. I appreciate all of you.

SAKURA
is cherry blossom in Japanese. This flower tells people that spring is here. I was playing golf today and found SAKURA blossom. Flower is pretty, but sure doesnt feel like spring.
Here is a picture of my dog PomPom. He is a 6 year old Shih Tzu and Pomeranian mix. I bought him at Absolute Puppy on NE 8th in downtown Bellevue. I do all his glooming myself. I do not want to spend money and I do not want him at the glooming place for hours. I gloom him every 5 or 6 weeks. I gloom Tiny and Nano as well. They are Shih Tzus and I know them since they are baby.
My company allows employees to bring their dog to work. Usually there are 3 to 5 dogs in the company at any given days. We actually bought current office buildings so that we can bring our dogs.
This picture was taken at my house.
I am asked many times by the business people what should I write on my Blog? My answer often is anything but advertisement of your company or product. How many advertisements can you write? Do you watch TV to see the advertisements? I dont think so. You watch the show and as a result you watch the advertisements.
The show is you. You must sell you on the Internet. You must be attractive enough to attract audiences. There is no point for you to advertise when there is nobody to see it. Think about what you know, what you like, what you dont like, and then write about them. Regardless of where your blog is, unless you update them often, you will not attract anyone.
Some of the topics people may choose to write are
(1) What you eat
(2) Pets
(3) Where you go
(4) Whom you met
(5) Business Failure
(6) Business Success
(7) Advise you received (Good or Bad, Worse)
(8) Health and Diet
(9) Economy and Politics
(10) Current News
Again, you need to update your blog as often as possible. Also, pictures will make your blog more attractive.
