渋滞は1時間30分でクリア
向かった先はＪＲ高山本線飛騨高山一宮駅
駅のすぐ横に咲き誇る臥龍桜
幹の形が龍の臥した姿に似ているところから名付けられた
国指定天然記念物
樹齢１１００年を超える
龍が天に向かって躍動しているかのようです
今が丁度満開でした

龍の背中に乗ってみたいです。
仮死状態から何度も復活した伝説の桜のようですね。
樹齢に頭が下がります。

ソメイヨシノの寿命は、７０年くらいと聞いたことがあるのですが、これは別の種類なんですね。
自然種だとこんなに長生きするものなのですね〜！
それにしても素晴らしい！
