そう云えば、サンフランシスコから国道１号線を南下すると
海岸線を右手に見ながらのドライブです
サンタクルーズの手前に"Pigeon Lighthouse"
「鳩燈台」があります
結構、ＵＳＡでは名の通った燈台のようです。

これまでも、このブログルにはハワイのダイアモンドヘッド燈台や
佐渡の幾つかの燈台、鼠ヶ関燈台などをアップしています

灯台というのは海には似合いますね。



陸と海を結ぶ効果が見た目からしてありますよね。

今回の画像は曇りと逆光で綺麗に撮れませんでした



燈台は"Lighthouse"と言うんですね

光の家、言いえて妙です

日本では江戸時代は「常夜燈」と言っていました
