学名：Chimonanthus praecox (L.) Link form. luteus (Makino) Okuyama

ソシンロウバイ（素心蝋梅）；
蝋梅の名前はこの半透明で蝋細工のような花びらから。
茎にはスポンジ状の白い芯があり、これが「素心」の名前の由来
ロウバイの園芸品種。内側の花被片が赤色を帯びない。
ロウバイは花がやや小さく、内側の花被片は赤色を帯びる。
花は強い芳香がある、ロウバイと違い、花の内側も黄色。
