チヂミザサ（縮笹）　　　　　イネ科（Poaceae）
学名：Oplismenus undulatifolius var. undulatifolius f. japonicus
別名：チジミザサ

《泉の森の野草（３＋１）❖2021/07/10❖》
チヂミザサ（縮笹）；
葉が笹の葉に似て縁が波打った様に縮れている特徴があり名付けられた。
山野・林の中や道端などにごく普通に見られる。
茎は地面を這って枝分かれし、斜上して高さ10～30㎝。節は太く短毛が密生する。
葉は長さ3〜10cm、幅7〜15mm、広披針形で、先は次第にとがり、基部は狭まる。
光沢なく両面に細毛がある。葉鞘は無毛で縁辺にだけ毛がある。
長さ5～15cmの花序を出し小穂を付ける。
茎に毛が多いものをケチヂミザサ、毛の少ないものをコチヂミザサと分けることもある。
普通、７月末～８月にかけて咲き始めるが、今年はすでに咲き始めている。
