ゆずの湯

日本では古来から、冬至の日にゆずの湯船に浸かる習慣がありました。
そうすると風邪をひかないとか。

もちろん手洗いを励行したほうが効果的面なはずですが、
子供の頃、ゆずのお風呂に入ったことを思い出しました。

そこで今夜は数十年ぶりにゆずの湯。
バスタブは1人専用なので贅沢な使い方です。



In Japan, there has been a custom since ancient times to soak in a yuzu bathtub on the day of the winter solstice.
It is said that if you do this, you will not catch a cold.

Of course, it would be more effective to wash your hands more often.
I remembered taking a yuzu bath when I was a child.

So tonight I took my first yuzu bath in decades.
The bathtub is for one person only, so it's a luxurious use.
